Puisi oleh Leni Marlina
1)
Kawan,
menawarkan asongan, menunggu senyum kecil.
Di rumah, harapan terpasung di balik pintu,
ibu menjahit impian dengan benang yang putus,
ayah berjuang melawan sakit,
suara riuh pasar menggoda cita-cita,
teman-temanku bicara tentang ujian,
sementara aku menghitung setiap rupiah yang kudapat.
2)

The meaning of the title that I got is that a child who looks shabby does not necessarily mean that he is a poor child, he could be fighting for his future.

The thing that comes to mind is that even a small child will try for his future even if his appearance looks shabby.

This poem invites reflection on the realities of poverty, the quiet struggles that go unnoticed, and the perseverance required to survive in a harsh world. It reminds us that even small actions can hold great significance, especially when driven by love, hope, and the desire for a better life.

This poem, “Bukan sekadar penjual di pinggir jalan,” reminds me of the resilience and determination of individuals who balance their dreams with the harsh realities of life, reflecting the sacrifices made by many to support their families while striving for a better future.

For me, the title of the poem has a very touching and inspiring meaning.
The line that I like is
Di rumah, harapan terpasung di balik pintu,
ibu menjahit impian dengan benang yang putus,
ayah berjuang melawan sakit,
After reading this poem, I realized that not everyone is lucky.
The meaning that i get from the title of this poem is that small things are not things that we can consider trivial.
